What we collect
Nothing that identifies your child. The site generates a random “agent code” to save progress — it is not linked to any name, email, or personal information.
Strategy submissions
Agents may optionally submit text or photos describing how they solved a challenge. Photos have location and device metadata automatically stripped before storage. All submissions are reviewed before being displayed publicly.
Automatic removal
Submitted content (text and images) is automatically deleted after 1 year of inactivity. You can also request manual deletion at any time by emailing hello@secretmath.co.nz.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that collects no personal data, uses no cookies, and does not track individuals.
Hosting
The site is hosted on AWS infrastructure (CloudFront, DynamoDB, Lambda) located outside New Zealand. No personal data is stored or transferred, so the Privacy Act 2020 cross-border disclosure rules do not apply.
